Hacked...again

Seriously, Mom you must blog. If you are going to have a blog then you must address your audience at least once a month and since it has been a bit longer than that. I guess I will update your audience for you. (if there is anyone left.)

As you can see the parents are on another adventure. They are on their AZ/UT fall trip. I guess they are having fun since I haven't really heard from them. I know that they went to Utah for General Conference then they went to Arches and Monument Valley. I know that they made it to Arizona. I am sure they are playing cards with their friends, swimming, eating at all the yummy restaurants that Whatcom county doesn't have and when I talked to my dad today he said that the boys went scorpion hunting.

Hmm... I wonder how long until my Mom realizes that she has been hacked? I have an idea no one say anything. We will keep this little secret to ourselves. Now, I think I am going to go change her facebook profile picture. She needs an update.

Tanning Bed Hazards

As most people already know the obvious hazards of using a tanning bed. I will share another hazard that most people are not aware of.
At the tanning salon I visit they put a little card on their beds stating the bed is sanitized.
This is where my hazard comes in - I have forgotten to take the note off the bed and have laid on it unaware that it was there. Not until the next morning I caught a glimpse of a perfect white square on my back in the mirror as I was about to get in the shower. (Good thing my swimsuit has a high back so it wasn't noticeable.)
You might think that I would learn from my lesson. Nope! I did it again. This happened last year when I was preparing to go on our cruise.
It is once again time for me to get prepared with a base tan before going on our cruise next month.
Tonight, as I settling in the tanning bed I felt something poke me in the back. Yipe - it was the card, but the good news I figured it out before I had any evidence.
Apparently I need to learn this lesson each year.
